With the age of 13 Nartak's passion for music found its first expression by creating mixtapes from what he has recorded on the radio. A few years later he discovered the intensity of Live-Music and started to work with several musicians and bands. Nartak's DJ career began in 1990. Originally educated as an allround-dj, soon he turned into an electronic music specialist.

His name has been found on flyers for trance & progressive house parties and festivals as much as downtempo, lounge & club nights or ambient & chillout sets. His profound knowlege of atmospherics, peoples energy and his virtuous sensitivity to foresee the needs of the specific venue made his name to be a trademark for reliable and steady dj sets in various scenes. Within the last 19 years Nartak played on more than 1000 events throughout the world.

With the foundation of Free Form network in January 1996 Nartak enriched his job as a dj and became chief A&R and the head of label management. In the following 9 years he took care of 4 labels with 22 artists and bands. Music production, grafic arts, promotion - for all the aspects in labelmanagement Nartak pays highest attention to quality without ever loosing the most important impulse: to enjoy music to the fullest. With his support artists like deep-dive-corp., le café abstrait, The Havana Boys, Ohm-G, Orbient or Hippiehaus became international bestsellers.

Since December 2004 Nartak is working for the biggest private radio station in Germany „Klassik Radio“. His two hours show called „Klassik Lounge Nightflight“ is an unique and sensitive mix combining all sorts of listening music: Downtempo, Chillout, World, NuJazz, Ambient and New Classics. Considered as one of the best electronic listening shows, DJ Nartak's Nightflight is the perfect soundtrack for a relaxed evening or for a party night take-off.

In 2007 Nartak started a new radio- and compilation concept called „Globality“. His vision takes form as musical journeys blending all kind of music-cultural roots and styles into a modern expression based on electronic sounds. In Septemer 2008 „Globality by DJ Nartak“ started his program on air at „Deluxe Lounge Radio“ (DeluxeTV) and on Austria's „LoungeFM“. In the same time the first Globality compilation manufactured in an opulente 2CDBox got released on Peacelounge Recordings. Since summer 2009 DJ Nartak and his Globality show is part of Planet Radio's "Early morning breaks".
